Sweet potato
Sweet potatoes do not belong to the potato family (Solanaceae family) but to the Convolvulaceae family, which is a group of plants that have trumpet-shaped flowers. Sweet potatoes are excellent sources of vitamin A, beta-carotenes, vitamin C, B6, magnesium, potassium and fiber. For better conservation store in a cool, dry, dark and ventilated place, and you should not store raw sweet potatoes in the refrigerator. Cut them only when cooking and consuming, or if cut in advance, put them in water until cooking time in order to avoid browning by contact with air.
