PORTUGAL FRESH - Association for the Promotion of Fruits, Vegetables and Flowers of Portugal - was created on December 6, 2010. The Association was born out of the need / opportunity, felt by the business fabric itself, to highlight the potential of national products. Betting on a new promotional approach to the quality and uniqueness of what is Portuguese, Portugal Fresh was designed to unite companies in the sector in favor of a common goal - the valorization of the “Portugal” origin and the characteristics of our products.
The association's main objective is to promote the fruits, vegetables and flowers of Portugal, both internally and in an international panorama. The actions carried out between 2019 and 2020 were supported as part of a joint project under Portugal 2020.
Portugal Fresh channels its motivation in conquering the sector's relevance, working proactively, not only to promote exports but also to encourage the consumption of fruit and vegetables, especially among the youngest.
The essence of freshness, flavor and authenticity of national products is now materialized in a concept that aims to represent Portugal in a perspective of valorization and cooperation, designed to position this sector as a key to the development of the national economy.
Thus, the association intends to assert itself as the “Portugal” hat brand, assuming an increasingly relevant role in the international context, in order to add value to its members.
